How AWS networks are structured.
In AWS:
VPC — your private virtual network, scoped to a region
Subnet — a slice of the VPC, scoped to ONE Availability Zone
Public subnet — has a route to an Internet Gateway
Private subnet — no direct route to the internet (use NAT for egress)
You want a 3-AZ highly available app. Minimum number of subnets?
A) 1 B) 2 C) 3 (one per AZ, all public) D) 6 (one public + one private per AZ)
