Without tags, you're flying blind.
On AWS, the foundation of cost allocation is tagging every
resource with at least:
A) Random emoji.
B) Owner / team, environment (prod/staging/dev), cost-center or
product, plus an "application" tag — and enforcing it via SCPs /
tag policies + a remediation Lambda for untagged resources.
C) Just the resource creation date.
