Don't over-commit.
Reserved Instances / Savings Plans give the best discounts,
but they obligate you for 1-3 years. The standard rule of thumb is:
A) Commit to your STEADY-STATE baseline (the floor of usage you're
confident about), and cover the variable portion with On-Demand
and Spot.
B) Commit to your peak usage so you "never run out".
C) Don't commit at all; pay On-Demand forever.
D) Commit to 200% of current usage to lock in growth.Sign in to save your code and track progress across devices.
