S3 → Lambda is a pattern.
An object is uploaded to S3 → you want to immediately resize
it and store the thumbnail in another bucket. The simplest cloud-native
glue is:
A) Run an EC2 cron every minute that polls the bucket.
B) An S3 Event Notification → SQS or Lambda that does the resize and
writes to the thumbnail bucket.
C) A daily Athena query.
